With a prodigious entrepreneurial background, in 2006 Ron started his production company, TRUPPA Entertainment, not only purchasing and creating original content, but also producing, writing, and directing events, documentaries, TV, Film, PSA's, Commercials, and Music Videos.

In June 2010 Ron founded the Catalina Film Festival on California's only resort island (situated in Los Angeles County). The non-profit organization's mission is to help foster the growth of filmmakers, the industry, and support the efforts of the Catalina Island Conservancy as well as the economic growth of the historic island itself. It has grown to be one of the world's premiere festivals while expanding its reach with the Catalina Film & New Media Summit, Catalina Film Institute, Catalina Film Society, and the Catalina Film Radio program.  Go to www.CatalinaFilm.org for more information.
